Sgt. James Fitzgerald, Abbotsford, is participating in the annual two-week
summer active duty encampment of the 933rd Tactical Airlift Group Air Force
Reserve, now underway at General Billy Mitchel Field, the unit’s home base at
Milwaukee.
The unit is part of the 440th Tactical Airlift Wing, which also has its
headquarters at Mitchell Field, and is also in its annual active duty
encampment.
The encampment provides a yearly period of concentrated training and practice
for reservists designed to assist them in maintaining proficiency in their Air
Force specialties.
