Seefeld, Lynne (3 Aug 1974)

Miss Lynne Seefeld, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Seefeld, Rt. 1, Spencer, became the bride of Phillip Frane, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Frane, 223 South Third Street, Colby, on Saturday, August 3, 1974. Father Francis Rushman and Pastor David Ault officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony in St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Colby. Mrs. Bernadette Gabriel provided the music.

The bride, escorted down the aisle by her father, appeared wearing a white gown of nylon organza over satin, accented with lace. The fingertip veil cascaded from a Juliet cap. She carried a bouquet of white roses and pink, yellow and lavender carnations.

Mrs. Jeffrey Kilty, Colby, was the matron of honor. And serving as bridesmaids were Miss Shawn Smith, Camp Douglas, Wisconsin, and Miss Susan Lyon, Riplinger. Miss Kelly Seefeld was the flower girl and Troy Seefeld, ring bearer.

Jeffrey Kilty, Colby, was the best man, and David Baumgartner, St. Paul, and Tom Doerr, Augensburg, served as groomsmen. Greg Frane and Ricky Hardrath performed ushering duties.

A reception, buffet supper and dance at the VFW Hall in Colby followed the ceremony.

The bride and groom are both 1972 graduates of Colby High School. She is employed at Thorp Finance Corporation in Marshfield and her husband, a 1974 graduate of Fox Valley Technical Institute, is a body man at Johnson’s Garage in Colby.

The couple will be making their home at Colby.
