Denk, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald (45th – 14 November 1981)

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Denk, 306 South Andrews St., Greenwood, were honored on their 45th wedding anniversary which occurred Saturday, November 14. All of their children were present for the celebration.

Gerald Denk and Anna Lindner were married in Greenwood on November 14, 1936, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. After their marriage, they farmed in the Town of Eaton for 35 years, then retired and moved to the city of Greenwood.

A Mass was held at St. Mary’s Church at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, followed by a reception and dance hosted by their children at the Legion hall in Greenwood.

The Denks have two sons, five daughters and 21 grandchildren. The children are Romaine Denk and children, Pati, Barbi, Laurie and Lisa, Franklin; Gerry, Jr. and Mary Denk, and Allen, Tommy and Jessica, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; Caroline and Tom Annew and Sherri, Jim, Steve and Scott, Crystal Lake, Ill.; Corrine and Eldon Liebzeit, Liz, Jeff and Becky, Waupaca; Milly and Dennis Humke, Mike, Michelle, Jennifer, Heather and Rachel, Marshfield; Janice and Robert Brom, Bryan and Nathan, Willard; Tom and Betty Barr, Todd, James and Rosemary, Pickett; and Alice Larsen, Waupaca.
