Draeger, Anna M. (15 Apr 1892 – 30 May 1974)

Funeral services were held Monday, June 3, 1974 at United Church of Christ, Colby, for Mrs. Anna M. Draeger, 82, Colby, who died May 30, 1974 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Rev. Kenneth Dix officiated at the 1:30 p.m. service, and interment was made in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

The former Anna Panke was born April 15, 1892 at Colby. She received her education in Colby schools. Her marriage to Paul Draeger took place December 30, 1915 at the United Church of Christ at Colby. She lived all of her life in Colby, and was baptized, confirmed, married and buried in the same church, where she served as secretary of the Women’s Guild for 17 years. She was also a member of The Royal Neighbors of American and the Order of Easter Star.

She is survived by her husband and three children, Paul F. Draeger, Racine, Everett Bailey, Alameda, California, and Mrs. Henrietta Becker, Colby, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Five brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
