Schuh, Richard Allen (5 April 1949 – 15 July 2022)

Richard Allen Schuh, age 73, of Colby, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at his sister Nancy’s home under the tender care of hospice.

Richard was born on April 5, 1949, the son of Anthony and Geraldine (Shelley) Schuh in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He attended Colby High School. On ______, Richard was united in marriage to Sharon Kildahl. They later divorced. He worked multiple jobs until retiring from Weyerhauser (later Marshfield) Door after 30 plus years.

Dick was a member of St. Mary in Colby. He volunteered at the church, community and helped out his family, neighbors and friends. Dick enjoyed bowling, darts, playing cards, and watching the Brewers and Packers. He liked traveling and taking cruises, especially with his cousin, Jeff. Dick’s favorite event of the year was his family reunions, which he never missed.

Dick is survived by three children: Richard A. II (Patti) Schuh of Van Dyne, Jonathon N. (Kathy) Schuh of Rayton, MO and William M. (JoAnn) Schuh in VA; nine grandchildren; Rani, Austin, Brittney, Alicia, Sara, Zachary, Gillian, and Chloie; six great-grandchildren: Allison, Lillian, Zach, William, Allannah and Emma, 8 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers: Larry (Patsy) Schuh and Tom Schuh; four sisters: Judy (LeRoy) Underwood, Jean Klimowski, Lois Asplund and Nancy Brown. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roger and Jerome Schuh.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Parish in Colby on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Father Joseph Redfern will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Colby. Family and friends are welcome on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Live stream will be available for those unable to attend on the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home Facebook page or after the service anytime on Facebook or the website. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Colby is entrusted with the arrangements.
