Snedic, James B. (1938? – 12 May 2022)
James B. Snedic, 84, formerly of Willard, passed on to Eternal Life, Thursday, May 12, 2022. Visitation will be on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Holy Family Parish, W8170 Main St., Willard, at 9 a.m. until time of the service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Chickadee Road, Willard.

In his youth, Jim designed and built a go-cart, a motor bike, model airplanes and even a wooden submarine (which sank in five minutes). After three years at St Norbert’s College, Jim transferred to Marquette and graduated with a manufacturing engineering degree. Jim also served several years in the military and worked at Hunzinger Construction briefly before being hired at Rexnord where he was a manufacturing engineer for over 40 years. He loved entertaining and his hospitality was extended to all. He was fond of his new white 1957 Impala hard top and later the blue 1950’s Chevy truck which he drove around Mirna Dolina and Willard. With his Slovenian heritage, Jim never by-passed potica or strudel. Jim died of complications of bone marrow disease (MDS).

He will be missed as the beloved husband of Ruth Ann (nee Goehring); loving father of Jennifer (Timothy Barber) Snedic and Remi Snedic; and dear brother of Mary Ann (Ronald Wunderlin) Snedic and William Snedic. He was also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to your charity of choice in honor of James is appreciated.

Bevsek-Verbick Funeral Home of West Allis assisted the family with arrangements.
