Sundermeyer, Brenda (19 September 1981)

Brenda Sundermeyer and David Kile, both of Worland, Wyoming, were united in marriage on September 19 in Thermopolis, Wy., ceremonies by the Rev. Wayne Meier of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Sundermeyer, now of Thermopolis and formerly of Neillsville; her father was Clark County Sheriff. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. David Kile, Sr., 600 North Washington St., Thorp.

Serving as maid of honor was Julie Sundermeyer, the bride’s sister. She was joined by Karen Sundermeyer, another sister. Bestman was Rich Sundermeyer, the bride’s brother, and Steve Sundermeyer, another brother. Dave Bard ushered.

Music at the service included “Could I Have This Dance” and “The Wedding Song” by Mike Raymond and accompanied by Jamie Raymond; and “You Needed Me” by Mike and Jamie Raymond accompanied by Terri Havie.

The bride chose a floor length gown with small, flowered print with a sheer, tiered skirt over taffeta and featuring a lace bodice and sheer long sleeves. She wore a picture had with attached veil and carried a bouquet of Yellow roses, daisies and baby’s breath. Her attendants, each carrying bouquets of yellow daisies and baby’s breath, wore lavender, tiered, floor-length gowns with white trim and featuring spaghetti straps.

The bride’s mother chose an off-white dress with lavender trim while the groom’s mother wore a dress in a lavender print on white.

Following the nuptials, a reception was held in the church parlors. A three-tiered cake, decorated in lavender and yellow, was served by sisters of the bride while coffee was served by Mrs. Gil Massman of Thermopolis.

After a wedding trip to the Big Horn Mountains, the new Mr. and Mrs. Kile will make their home in Worland. The bride is a 1976 graduate of Owen-Withee High School and attended Northland College in Ashland. The groom is a 1969 graduate of Thorp High School and served in the U.S. Navy.
