Fecker, Angela (23 Sep 1871 – 19 May 1974)

Mrs. Angela Fecker, former Abbotsford resident, died Sunday, May 19, 1974 at St. Ann’s Home for the Elderly in Milwaukee. She was 102 years of age.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford, with the Rev. Emil Hodnik officiating. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Colby.

The former Angela Schaller was born September 23, 1971 in Manitowoc County. She was married to William D. Fecker, a cheese maker. They resided at School Hill in Manitowoc County, the town of Mayville and the Town of Hull, where Mr. Fecker was employed at the Green Valley Cheese Factory. He died in 1949.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Magdalen Shumaker, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Irene Prechel, Peoria, Illinois, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Guetschow of the Marshfield Convalescent Home.
