Laski, Ailene Judith (4 May 1974)

St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford, was the setting for the exchange of marriage vows as Ronald James Loertcher claimed Ailene Judith Laski as his bride Saturday, May 4, 1974, at 2 p.m. Father Emil Hodnik presided at the ceremony, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Schelbe played guitars and the church choir sang.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Laski, Curtiss, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Loertcher, Medford, are the parents of the newlyweds.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, appeared in an A-line empire styled gown of floral mystique over taffeta, with a chapel sweep train. Her bouquet contained pink roses and white carnations.

Miss Debra Laski, Curtiss, served as maid of honor. Miss Jeanie Loertcher, Colby, and Mrs. Carl Gosse, Medford, were bridesmaids. They wore floor length dresses in shades of blue, green and lilac. Pink roses and white carnations comprised their bouquets.

Dennis Meske, Abbotsford, was the best man, and Bill Kozenka, Colby, and Merle Gosse, Medford, were groomsmen. Ushering duties were performed by Floyd Juedes and Mark Heinz.

A reception and dance were held at the Abbotsford City Hall, and a dinner was served in the church basement.

After a wedding trip fishing in northern Wisconsin, the couple will reside in Green Acres Trailer Court, Colby.

The bride is a 1971 graduate of Abbotsford High School, and is employed at the Marshfield Clinic. The groom graduated from Medford High Schools, and is employed by the Soo Line Railroad Company.
