Roll, Joseph A. (1 August 1910 - 3 October 1983)

WITHEE -- Services for Joseph A. Roll, 73, Route 1, Withee, who died Monday at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, will be Thursday at St. Mary's Polish National, Lublin.

The Rev. E.J. Brzostowski will officiate with burial in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the Maurine Funeral Home, Owen.

He was born August 1, 1910 in Poland. He married Bernice Salwach August 13, 1940 in Chicago. The couple farmed in the Town of Roosevelt, Taylor County, from 1942 to 1972. He also was employed by the Teledyne-Post Co. in Owen for 16 years. In 1972 they moved to Withee.

Survivors include his wife; three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Mikulec of Chicago, Mrs. William (Margaret) Boyd of Merritt Island, Florida and Mrs. Mary Modzelewski of Kissimmee, Florida.
