Heinrich, Kristi Jean (23 Feb 1974)
A 7:30 p.m. candlelight service was performed at Immanuel Lutheran Church at March Rapids united Kristi Jean Heinrich and Richard E. Weiland in marriageeon Saturday, February 23, 1974. Mrs. Leroy Redetzke and Mrs. Lavern Landwehr sang, accompanied by David Boehning at the organ.

Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. Myron Heinrich, Route 5, Mosinee, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Weiland Sr., Route 1, Colby.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, appeared in a white satin gown with a French embroidered lace bodice and cuffs, and a long veil with a bonnet headpiece etched in matching lace. She carried an old-fashioned colonial bouquet of Forever Yours red roses, white pompons, lily of the valley and baby's breath, with white satin trim.

Mrs. Eugene Borchardt, Edgar, cousin of the groom, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Steven Schnae, Mosinee, sister of the bride, and Miss Susan Weiland, Colby, sister of the groom. They wore Nile green polyester gowns with an embroidered bodice and high ruffled neckline and matching headpieces. They carried a mum colonial bouquet with burgundy edges and baby's breath.

Eugene Borchardt, Edgar, served his cousin as best man. Groomsmen were Steven Schnae, brother-in-law of the bride, and Thomas Lindau, Curtiss, future brother-in-law of the couple. Ushering duties were performed by Bryan Heinrich, Rothschild, cousin of the bride, and Gary Weiland, Colby, brother of the groom.

Following the service a buffet supper, with reception and dance following, was held at Dorchester Memorial Hall.
Friends who helped with the guests book and flowers were Miss Debbie Heinrich, Rothschild, cousin of the bride, and Miss Shirley Weiland, Stratford, cousin of the groom.

Terry Schnae, Merrill, friend of the couple, took the wedding pictures.
