Johnson, Vivian (12 Apr 1926 – 10 Jun 1978)
Mrs. Arthur (Vivian) Johnson, age 53, of R.R. #1, Withee, died of an apparent
heart attack at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 1978, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in
Marshfield.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 1978 at St. John’s
Lutheran Church in Withee, with the Rev. Douglas Groenewold officiating. Burial
followed at Riverside Cemetery near Withee.
The Maurina Funeral Home in Owen provided the services.
The former Vivian Teitsch was born on April 12, 1926 in Owen, and she attended
Owen schools. She married Arthur Johnson on November 24, 1952 in Curtiss. She
had been employed by Master Package Corp since 1945.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the church choir. She was a
member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliary of Owen, and the Wisconsin Steam
Engine Club.
She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Mildred Teitsch of Owen; one
sister, Mrs. Glenn (Geraldine) Luscher of Marion, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father.
