Miss Amber Nirva, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chet Nirva, Withee, Wisconsin, and David Wolover, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wolover, Onalaska, were united in marriage December 17, 1977 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood, Wisconsin.

Rev. L. Davis officiated at the 5:00 p.m. candlelight ceremony. Mrs. Kath Meike, Hudson, Wisconsin, provided organ music. Miss Tina Pekham, Springfield, Illinois, was soloist, while Terry Nirva played guitar accompaniment.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white batiste gown, with fingertip veil. She carried a Bible covered with a large red tipped chrysanthemum.

Mrs. Gary Kind, Marshfield, was matron of honor, and Miss Lucinda Wolover, Onalaska, was bridesmaid, wearing dark green and dark red gowns, with red rosebud garlands in their hair. They carried dark red Bibles.

Mr. Arthur Wolover, Onalaska, served as best man, and Terry Nirva, La Crosse, as groomsman.

Mr. Gary Kind, Marshfield, and Ron Gard, Sturgeon Bay, ushered the guests.

Dinner was served following the ceremony in the church parlors. Reception was held at the bride’s parents’ home at Withee, Wisconsin.

The bride is a 1972 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, and a 1976 graduate of UW-Eau Claire, with a B.A. degree in vocal music education. She teaches vocal music at Holmen High School, Holmen, Wisconsin.

Her husband, a 1972 graduate of Onalaska High School, and a 1977 graduate of UW-Eau Claire, with a B.A. degree in music, works at Leonard Music in Winona, Minnesota.

They will make their home at 1025 S. Oak Avenue, Onalaska.
