Embke, Susan (9 May 1981)

Susan Embke and James Popple of Eau Claire were married on Saturday afternoon, May 9, at the Neillsville United Church of Christ. The Rev. Gary Clark officiated.

Parents of the couple are Norbert and Phyllis Embke of Neillsville and Samuel and Marcelline Popple of Colfax.

Cheryl Miller was maid of honor. She was joined by Vicki Popple, Dawn Popple and Linda Embke. On the groom’s side, William Peterson was bestman. He was joined by Brian Kizzek, Charles Kopca and Brian Popple. Ushering were Gene Gibson and Duane Popple.

A reception at the Wildcat Inn followed the formal ceremonies. A dance was later held at a Menomonie lodge. The couple were to make their home in Eau Claire.
