Broeske, Jean M. (21 Jul 1973)

Making their first home in Maplewood Terrace in Abbotsford are Mr. and Mrs. Dennis A. Beisner, the former Jean M. Broeske, who were married July 21, 1973 in St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester.

Rev. Jacob Burgraff celebrated the nuptial High Mass uniting in marriage the children of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Broeske and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Beisner, all of Route 1, Dorchester.

For her wedding day, the bride chose a full length gown of sheer nylon with Venice lace and satin ribbon trimming the empire waist, deep ruffled hem and floor length veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of red and pink roses, carnations, lily of the valley and blue forget-me-nots.

The maid of honor, Miss Marcia Westberg of Ogema, and the flower girl, July Beisner, were attired in pale pink dresses with white trim accents and short puff sleeves. The bridesmaids, Nancy Beisner and Linda Broeske, and the junior bridesmaid, Lisa Beisner, wore similar dresses in baby blue. The bridal attendants carried bouquets of daisies and baby’s breath, surrounding a rose to match the color of each one’s dress.

Cliff Gorczinski was the best man, and groomsmen were Galen Beisner, David Broeske, and Robert Broeske, ring bearer. Donald Broeske and Douglas Beisner seated the guests.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Dorchester Memorial Hall after the ceremony.

The bride graduated from Abbotsford High School in 1969, and is a senior at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. Her husband graduated from Colby High School in 1965 and served four years in the Navy. He is employed as a cheese maker at Dorchester Cheese Company.

Mr. and Mrs. Beisner took a wedding trip to Minnesota, North and South Dakota and Wyoming, and returned home July 29.
