Mancil, Ruth A. (02 March 1924 - 07 September 1983)

Services for Mrs. Raymond (Ruth A.) Mancil, 59, of 733 W. 17th St., who died in the emergency room at St. Joseph's Hospital Wednesday, will be Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Ronald A. Jensen will officiate. Bruce Jensen will be the organist. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Van Alstine, Hubert Fieber Jr., Donald Walt, Mike Wagner, and Jim and Ray Fieber.

Visitation will be at the Hansen Funeral Home.

The former Ruth A. Sitzman was born March 2, 1924 in Spencer, to Mr. and Mrs. August (Ella Liebert) Sitzman and received her education there. She moved to Marshfield and was employed by Weyerhaeuser for a short time and then worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory for several years.

She was married to Raymond Mancil June 26, 1954 in Immanuel Lutheran Church. The couple then moved to rural Wisconsin Rapids until 1969 when they moved back to Marshfield. They have resided here since.

A member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, she is survived by her husband; two sons, Stuart Mancil of Marshfield and Gregory Mancil of Prescott; three brothers, Leonard Sitzman of Marshfield, William Sitzman of Owen, and Roy Sitzman of Beaver Dam; and one sister, Mrs. Ervin (Olga) Reckner of Marshfield.

She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
