Pernsteiner, Betty L. (21 June 1945 - 06 September 1983)

GRANTON -- Services for Mrs. Joseph (Betty L.) Pernsteiner III, 38, Route 1, Granton, will be Friday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Chili. The Rev. Charles P. Schumacher will officiate with burial in St. Stephen's Cemetery.

Mrs. Pernsteiner died Tuesday in the emergency room at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Visitation will be at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.

The former Betty L. Rose was born June 21, 1945 in Lindsey, to Mr. and Mrs. Glen (Dorothy Weiland) Rose. She attended Granton schools and graduated in 1963 from Spencer High School. She was married to Joseph Pernsteiner III February 1, 1964 in Bakerville. Since 1965 they have lived on a farm in the Town of York.

A member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, she is survived by her husband; two daughters, Sue and Shelly, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Rose of Marshfield; four brothers, Erlin Rose of Marshfield, Duane Rose of Menomonie, and Donald and Robert Rose, both of Spencer; and two sisters, Mrs. John (Janet) Schiferl of Redmond, Washington and Mrs. Roger (Mary Ann) Bymers of Spencer.

Pallbearers will be Mike Bymers, Dennis and Brian Rose, Chris Pernsteiner, Jack Downer and Leonard Reich.
