Two Abbotsford young men have enlisted in the United State Army, according to
information from SFC Henry A. Niemann Jr.
John Svejda, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Svejda, 600 Fourth Street, Abbotsford,
will be working in Alaska after completion of Army schooling.
Alan Uhlig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Uhlig, 601 Fourth Avenue, Abbotsford,
will receive parachuting instruction upon completion of basic training.
