Brown, Tami (2 May 1981)

After a honeymoon to Ohio, the new Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Holm will make their home in Greenwood. The couple was married on Saturday afternoon, May 2, in services at the Zion United Church of Christ in Greenwood.

The Rev. Alwyn York officiated at the nuptials which united Tami Janel Brown and Thomas Anthony Holm. Parents of the couple are Lavern and Erma Brown, 111 W. Schofield St., Greenwood, and Marie Holm of Milwaukee and Gerry Holm of Milwaukee.

Serving as maid of honor was Terri Brown, a sister of the bride from Greenwood. She was joined by Mary Christianson of Greenwood, Wanda Frame of Eau Claire and Patti Hatfield of Thorp, all friends of the bride.

Tom Kind, Greenwood, was bestman. Joining him were Brian Denk of Wisconsin Rapids and Pete Opelt and Keith Oldham, both of Greenwood. All are friends of the groom. Ushering were Larry Reuter and Jim Arch, friends from Greenwood.

Jim Antrim and Dean Stieglitz offered “The Wedding Song” and “Longer” as the special music for the serviced. Music at the reception was offered by Gerry Holm, Jr., and Antrim.

The couple, maid of honor and bestman were chauffeured to the reception by Grad Murphy. The post-wedding celebration took place at the Greenwood American Legion Hall.

The new Mrs. Holm is a 1979 graduate of Greenwood High School. Her husband is a 1977 graduate of the same school and is employed as a cheesemaker for the Clark County Central Cheese Factory.
