Schnabel, Cheri Lynn (6 August 1983)

Alliance Missionary Church was the scene of the August 6 wedding of Miss Cheri Lynn Schnabel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rasmussen, Route 3, Greenwood, and Scott Joseph Plautz, Route 2, Auburndale, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Plautz, Route 3, Greenwood.

The Rev. dean E Morin officiated at the nuptials during which the bride was given in marriage by her parents. Nuptial music was provided by Laurette Bauer and Arnold Wolf, soloist, and Delores Wolf, pianist.

The bride had an organza and chantilly lace gown and a harmonizing lace hat with veil. In her cascade bouquet were freesia, white roses, lavender statice and daisies with white miniature carnations.

Miss Lori Schnabel was maid of honor; Cindy Plautz, bridesmaid; and Heather Kind, flower girl. All are of Greenwood. The adult aides had mauve formals and cascades of pink roses, white carnations, lavender statice and daisies.

David Jasurda, Marshfield, was best man; Tom Behrens, Greenwood, groomsman; and Shane Rasmussen and Paul Plautz, also Greenwood, ushered.

The reception and dance were at the Greenwood American Legion Hall.

The bride, who works for Marshfield Social Services, was a fine arts major at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and plans to further her education. Her husband, a diesel mechanic for DeBoer Trucking, Auburndale, attended District 1 Technical Institute-Eau Claire.
