Karen Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jensen, 506 Spruce Street, Abbotsford, was recently elected to Gold Caps, a women’s honorary society at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. Karen is a nursing student with a high grade point average.

The society is for senior women who are selected in the spring of their junior year on the basis of scholarship, leadership and contribution to campus community.

Miss Jensen is a resident assistant and has been a member of the Governors Hall Standards Board. She has been captain of an intramural team each year since her freshman years, and is active in the Eau Claire Area Ecology Action group, and in the university glee club.
