Weller, Eileen (24 Feb 1973)

United Church of Christ, Colby was the setting for the wedding Saturday, February 24, 1973 of Miss Eileen Weller, Moorhead, Minnesota, and Russell Dahl, Dilworth, Minnesota.

Parents of the bride and groom are Mr. and Mrs. George Weller, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar C. Dahl, Whitehall. The Rev. Kenneth A Dix, pastor, officiated at the 7:30 p.m. nuptial service, during which the bride was given in marriage by her father.

Mrs. Dennis Telschow was organist and Mrs. Carol Duval, soloist.

A white Edwardian gown of sata peau and Venice lace with matching cathedral length mantilla had been chose by the bride for her special day. She carried red roses, pink carnations, and stephanotis.

Attendants of the couple include Mrs. Kathy Weller of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, who wore a blue velvet gown and carried an arrangement of white chrysanthemums and.... (some words missing)… Richard Weller of the same city.

Ronald Stuve and Keith Weller shared ushering duties at the church.

Dinner followed the ceremony and was served in the church parlors, with a reception and dance later at the Colby City Hall.

The newlyweds are now making their home in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Dahl are employed in Moorhead, she as an interior decorator with Sherwin-Williams Company, and he as a driver for Janesville Auto Transport.

Mrs. Dahl graduated in 1971 from the University of Wisconsin, Stout, Menomonie, and her husband is a graduate of Whitehall High School.
