Serving as bestman was John Shaw, a friend of the groom from Madison. He was joined by Bruce VandeBerg, a brother of the groom from Marshfield, and Robert VandeBerg, another brother of the groom from Eau Claire. Serving as ushers were friends of the groom, David Steiger, Eau Claire, and Howard Corey, St. Cloud, Mn.

Offering special music at the service were Janet Hanson, a sister of the bride, and Catherine Stauffer.

The bride’s gown was of cream slipper satin with a lace bodice, tapering sleeves and a train of lace. She carried a bouquet of cream and blue roses accented by baby’s breath.

Following the services, a reception for 150 was held in the church fellowship hall. The couple will make their home in Eau Claire.
