Youmans, Sena (8 Sep 1893 – 8 Jan 1977)

Mrs. Sena Youmans, 83, Minneapolis, Minnesota, formerly of Owen, died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 1977 at Deaconess Hospital in Minneapolis.

Services were held at 1:30 Monday at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, with burial to follow in Nazareth Lutheran Church Cemetery at Withee. The Rev. Lloyd Yaggie, pastor of Nazareth Church, officiated.

The former Sean Hansen was born September 8, 1893 at Rock Rapids, Iowa, and was married to Jay Youmans, who preceded her in death. She had been a resident of Minneapolis for the past 10 years, and had worked for the General Telephone Co. at Owen as a telephone operator for many years.

Survivors include a son, Elmer, Minneapolis; a brother, James Hansen, Withee; a sister, Mrs. Lyle (Mathilda) Haas, Owen; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
