Weber, Joseph B. (18 May 1906 – 22 July 1980)

Funeral services were held in Niles, Illinois, on Monday early afternoon, July 28, for Joseph B. Weber, 74, who passed away in Neillsville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, July 22.Mr. Weber had been a resident of Geisler’s Nursing Home in Greenwood until his death.

The services were held from St. Adalbert’s Cemetery Chapel in Niles. The Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville made Local arrangements.

The deceased was born on May 18, 1906, in Poland to Bolesan and Frances (Zielinski) Weber. He came to the U.S. in 1915, settling in Chicago where he received his education. He then worked in Chicago for many years and later farmed in the Thorp area for several years. Due to failing health, he spent his last years in the Geisler’s Nursing Home facility.

Surviving him are two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Burcinski of Wausau and Mrs. Frances Stamburski of Naperville, Ill. Preceding him in death was one sister.
