Davis, Donald C. (7 January 1933 – 28 December 2021) With Flag

Donald C. Davis, 88, Marshfield, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Bedrock Abbotsford Health Care in Abbotsford.

Donald was born on January 7, 1933, in Granton, to Orville and Elsie (Reich) Davis and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War from April 15, 1953, until his honorable discharge on March 29, 1955. After his military service he began working with his father for Davis Construction until the early 1970’s. He then owned and operated Don Davis Realty until his retirement. After retirement he enjoyed target shooting.

Don is survived by his daughter-in-law, Donna (Sean) Davis Yaun, of Marshfield, grandchildren, Katie (Jim) Sauter, of Tomah and Kyle (Tania) Davis of Marshfield and great grandchildren, Desirae, Autumn, Addyson, Kainan, Avery, AJ, Layne and Isla. He is also survived by a brother, Roger (Kathy) Davis of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, DuWayne Davis.

Private family visitation and funeral services will be held at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield. Rev. Dean Pingel will officiate. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Town of Richfield, Wood County, where military rites will be conducted.
