Quelle, Emily (25 Sep 1900 – 16 Jun 1974)

Miss Emily Quelle was born on September 25, 1900 in West Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Andrew Quelle and his wife Ann Schoell.

In 1921 they moved to Thorp and she lived the rest of her life here. She was a member of the Thorp United Methodist Church for 50 years.

She died in an Eau Claire hospital on Sunday, June 16, 1974. Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother.

Survivors include 2 brothers, Harry and Roy; a sister, Grace, and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held in the Thorp United Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 19 at 2 p.m., and burial was made in the east Thorp Cemetery, with the Rev. David L. Fuller officiating.

Lunch was served at the church afterwards by members of the United Methodist Women.
