Slowiak, Mr./Mrs. Peter (60th – Apr 1974)

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Slowiak of Stanley celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, April 28, 1974.

The special day began with a Mass at St. Mary’s Czestochowa, Junction (Clark Co., Wis.), celebrated by Rev. Stanley Andrzewski. Immediately after the mass the honored couple and children enjoyed breakfast at the Thorpedo Restaurant in Thorp. A family get-together was held at the home of daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Harley Svoma in the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Slowiak have seven children: Mrs. Chester Liszewski (Frances) of Mesa, Arizona, Mrs. Ed Olichwier )Bernice) of Stanley, Helen of Wisconsin Rapids, Ray of Northlake, Illinois, Ed of Mesa, Arizona, Mrs. Cliff Ebben (Katherine) and Mrs. Harley Svoma (Dorothy) both of Thorp.
