The Elks Lodge of Chippewa Falls has once again joined with the Elks National Foundation to sponsor a “Most Valuable Student Contest.” This year’s winners are Dixie Postier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Postier, and Loren has, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haas.

The Chippewa Falls Lodge awards a $50.00 Savings Bond to the winning boy and girl in our area. The Elks National Foundation presents state and national awards ranging from $600.00 to $3,000.00. A scholastic average of 90 percent or better, a relative standing in the upper 5 percent f the applicant’s class, and a need for financial assistance are necessary for award consideration.
