Gertrude Peggy Story became the bride of Charles Earl Warner on Saturday, November 10, 1973 at the Hannibal Presbyterian Church, Hannibal.

Parents of the couple are Mrs. Lillian Story, Jump River, and Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Warner, Hannibal.

The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Duane Story, selected a gown of rosepoint lace, featuring Edwardian sleeves and a high neckline. A deep ruffle bordered the hemline of the bouffant skirt sweeping into a chapel train. Lace bordered the Madonna mantilla of sheer bridal illusion. She carried a bouquet of white carnations.

Jean Story, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Veronica Warner, sister-in-law of the groom, Rita Oberle, friend of the bride, and Rosemary Story, sister-in-law of the bride, were the bridesmaids. They wore gowns of crystallite in purple, moss, rose, and royal colors. Wendy Story, niece of the bride, was the miniature bride, and was dressed identical to the bride.

George Mudgott, friend of the groom, was best man, and Vernon Warner, brother of the groom, Bruce Truax, friend of the groom, and Milton Story, brother of the bride, were the groomsmen. Russell Warner, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

Dorvin Story, brother of the bride, and Earl Hinkel, cousin of the groom, seated the guests.

A reception for 300 people followed the ceremony at Koolmos Club and Ballroom, Gilman. A dance followed in the evening.

The bride, a 1972 graduate of Gilman High School, is employed at Thorp Finance Company, Thorp. Her husband, a 1970 graduate of Gilmna High School, is employed by D. L. Gasser Construction Company.

The couple will be making their home in the area of Jump River.
