Hancox, Margaret (30 June 1908 – 11 December 1979)

Word has been received here of the death in Denver, Colo., Tuesday morning of Mrs. Robert R. Hancox, sister of Robert Harvey, former editor and publisher of The Clark County Press.

Mrs. Hancox, need Margaret Harvey, was the eldest of six children of the late Wells F. Harvey, also a former Press editor and publisher, and Mrs. Harvey. She had been ill for several months.

The body was cremated, and graveside services will be held in the spring in Olivet, Mich., beside her husband.

Mrs. Hancox was born June 30, 1908, in Grand Rapids, Mich., where her father was then a reporter for the Grand Rapids Herald. She was a graduate of Olivet (Mich.) College, and taught music in schools in the New York City area before her marriage in 1930 to Dr. Robert R. Hancox, researcher and teacher in physics.

She was a resident of Kansas City, Mol, but went to Denver several weeks ago where her care was supervised by her brother, Dr. Wells F. Harvey, Jr., a Denver internist.
