Gerlach, Debra Kay (20 October 1979)

Redeemer Lutheran Church, Owatonna, Minnesota, was the October 20 site of the wedding of Debra Kay Gerlach and Kevin E. Meixner. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gerlach, Rt. 3 Neillsville, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Myron Meixner, rural Owatonna. The Rev. Charles Haake officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

Janet Steinberg, Owatonna, a sister of the groom, was maid of honor. She was joined by Marilyn Meixner, Lisa Meixner, Lavonne Redman and Meichelle Meixner, all of Owatonna.

Steve Gerlach, Owatonna, a brother of the bride, served as bestman. He was assisted by Jerry Meixner of Owatonna, Denny Meixner of Thief River Falls, David Gerlach and Kevin Gerlach, both of Neillsville. Ushering were Donnie Redman and Richard Steinberg, both of Owatonna. Carrie Redman and Randy Steinberg were flower girl and ring bearer.

A reception was held in the church’s social hall following the ceremony. A dance was held later in the evening at a local ballroom.

The bride is a graduate of Owatonna High School, is employed by the Owatonna Tool Company. The groom, also a graduate of Owatonna High, is employed by Rusco Siding and Window Company of Owatonna. After a wedding trip to California, the couple made their home in rural, Owatonna.
