Bandelow, Leland E. (29 October 1904 – 29 October 1979)

Leland E. Bandelow, 75, Menomonie, died October 29, in Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Bandelow was born October 29, 1904, in Neillsville. He married Isla Rowe, October 7, 1926, in Neillsville.

He was manager of the Farmers Union Co-op in Neillsville prior to moving to Menomonie where he was employed at UW-Stout until his retirement in 1969.

He is survived by his wife, Isla, Menomonie, one son, Lowell, St. Paul, three daughters, Mrs. James (Joyce) Oberle and Nelva Bandelow both of Menomonie, and Mrs. Richard (Charlene) Johnson of St. Paul, three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were held Thursday November 1 at the Menomonie United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Iliff officiating. Burial was in the Halverson Cemetery, with the Stanton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
