Wasserberger, Debra (3 November 1979)

Debra Wasserberger of Madison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wasserberger of Neillsville, and Michael Doud also of Madison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Doud of Black River Falls, were united in marriage on Saturday, November 3, by Circuit Judge Lowell D. Schoengarth at the Wasserberger Cabin on Mashin Road, Columbia.

The bride wore her great grandmother’s wedding dress and carried a bouquet of white roses, pansies and baby’s breath. She was attended by maid of honor Pat Sorlien of Tamworth, New Hampshire.

Bestman was David Wasserberger of Neillsville, the bride’s brother. Other attendants were Tom and Denise Gearing of Black River Falls and Jeff and Heidi Buttchen of Madison.

The girls were attired in floral print skirts, designed and created by the bride, and ivory blouses. They wore corsages of white roses, pompom mums and baby’s breath.

A reception was held for the family and friends at the Wildcat Inn and a dance was held at the Inwood Ballroom at Hatfield. The newlywedded couple will reside in Madison.
