Lesar, Laura (4 August 1979)

Laura Lesar and Michael Larson were joined in matrimony in afternoon ceremonies, August 4, in Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. With the Rev. James Lesczynski officiating, music was provided by Debra Aumann, who sang and played a guitar, and Janet Jaenke, accompanist on the organ.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lesar of Willard, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Dick Larson of Greenwood.

Serving as maid of honor was Colleen and Marge Thomas of Willard. Scott Fox of Willard was best man and he was assisted by Russ Denk and Dean Lesar. Ushering were Jerry and Randy Vessel.

The parish center served as the site for t he reception and a dance followed that evening in the Greenwood Legion Hall.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of Greenwood High School. He is an accountant with Larson Bookkeeping and accounting in Greenwood. The couple left on a wedding trip to Milwaukee and northern Illinois.
