Loomans, Donna (23 June 1979)

The Waupun United Methodist Church was the site for the June 23 afternoon sharing of wedding vows between Donna Loomans and Scott Rychnovsky. The bride who resided at Neillsville, prior to her marriage, is the daughter of Mrs. Anita Loomans, Waupun. The groom is the son of Ed and Ruth Rychnovsky, Neillsville. The Rev. Clyde Cross officiated at the ceremony.

The brides’ brother, John Loomans, presented her to the altar. The bride, carrying a silk flower bouquet of white carnations, purple violets, yellow primroses and baby’s breath, chose a white, long sheer-sleeved gown. The dress featured a full skirt with pleated front and long, lace tarin. She also wore a full white veil, trimmed with lace.

Diane Kaiser of Neillsville was the maid of honor. She was joined by Lori Rychnovsky, sister of the groom from Neillsville, and Mary Nummerdor of Waupun. The bridesmaids wore gowns of periwinkle featuring blouse-type tops with full-pleated skirts. They carried flowers similar to the brides.

Craig Kronberger of Neillsville was the best man. He was assisted by Tom Johnson of Neillsville and James Nummerdor of Waupun. Ushering were Dennis Loomans of Waupun, the bride’s brother, and Jeff Loomans, Waupun, the bride’s nephew.

Judy Hurless of Marshfield and Sandee Loomans of Waupun were ring bearer and flower girl. “Color My World” and “The Wedding Song” were the musical selections during the service.

After a reception at the Wesley Center in Waupun, the couple left on a six-day Florida honeymoon. The couple will make their home at 110 E. Ninth St., Neillsville.

The bride attended a one-year lab technician school at Waupun Memorial Hospital and is now a clinical laboratory assistant at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. The groom completed an 18-month police science program at District I Technical Institute, Eau Claire, and is now an officer in the Neillsville Police Department.
