Receiving their first Holy Communion at St. Mary’s Czestochowa, Sunday, June 24, 1973, was a very small group of only four children, as follows: Rose Ann Ciolkosz, Mary Ann Derks, Dale Goetil and Richard Lewciewicz.

Father Stanley Andrzejewski was the celebrant at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. In commemorating the feast of Corpus Christie, a procession with the Blessed Sacrament took place after Mass, with the first communicants leading the procession, and representing the congregation.
