The trucking department of Foremost Foods, Owen, honored several of their
drivers at a recognition dinner held recently at the Meadowview Country Club.
Norman Grow, District Manager of the Trucking Department of the Appleton office
acted as master of ceremonies at the banquet program, which featured Captain
Perry Griffith of the State Highway Department, Eau Claire, as the principal
speaker. Other speakers on the program included company personnel from Appleton,
Adell and Whitewater..
Among those honored and receiving awards were – for years of driving without an
accident: Fred Smith, 24 years; Nicholas LePage, 23 years; Elmer Bargenquast, 21
years; Ervin Mohr, 20 years; Ralph Bargenquast, 14 years; Edumud Tytor, Michael
Gwiazda, Duane Zager, 13 years; Ray Kaz and Edward LePage, 12 years, and Claude
Tollefson, 11 years.
