A Thorp student was a recipient of awards at the University of Wisconsin
Marathon County Center in Wausau Sunday, May 6, 1973, as the campus conducted
its annual spring convocations.
Tim Ahles, a senior at Thorp High school received a $100 academic achievement
award from UWMC’s Petersdorf scholarship fund. Elven UWMC freshmen and 10 area
high school seniors received the award.
