Kalsow, Barbara Rae (14 July 1979)

Barbara Rae Kalsow and Mark Edwin Johnson were married in Saturday afternoon services in the Neillsville United Methodist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kalsow, Neillsville, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Johnson, Racine.

With the Rev. William Noble officiating, the bride was presented to the altar by her father. Marie Stanley offered vocal music, accompanied by Iris Musil.

Mrs. Dale Reinart of Neillsville, a sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She was joined by Anita Simenson, a friend of the bride, and Eugenie Johnson, a sister of the groom from Racine.

The bride chose a fitted A-line gown with train featuring crepe backed satin Ette and a lace covered bodice trimmed with daisies. She carried a bouquet of apricot and white roses. The bridesmaids were attired in solid blue, green and peach colored polyester gowns, accented by sheer flowered capes. Each wore a matching hat and carried small bouquets similar to the brides.

David Saynay, a friend of the groom from Racine, was bestman. He was joined by Michael Johnson, a brother of the groom from Racine, and Dale Reinart, a brother-in-law of the bride from Neillsville. Ushering were Greg and Cheryl Marion friends of the couple.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Wildcat Inn and that was followed by a dance at the Silver Dome Ballroom.

The bride is a 1974 graduate of Neillsville High School and is presently employed by Auto Test, Inc., in Neillsville. The groom is a 1977 graduate of Park High School in Racine and is employed by Bush’s in Augusta. The couple have opted to make their home in Augusta.
