Schultz, William J. (1 December 1904 – 29 April 1979)

A long-time Town of Hewett farmer, William J. Schultz, 74, passed away suddenly Sunday in his home. Mr. Schultz was born on December 1, 1904, to William J. and Augusta (Gahl) Schultz in Huntley, Ill. He moved with his parents, to Clark County and received his education here. He farmed with his parents in the Town of Hewett until their retirement and then took over the operation, doing so until his death.

Surviving him is a sister, Mrs. Ole (Minna) Aspen of Neillsville. And preceding him in death was one brother, Arthur and two sisters, Ida and Georgeanna.

Funeral services for Schultz were to be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Neillsville United Church of Christ with the Rev. Gary Clark officiating, and burial was to be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. The Gesche Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Schultz, William J. (1 December 1904 – 29 April 1979)

Funeral services for William J. Schultz, 74, were held May 3 from the Neillsville United Church of Christ. The Rev. Gary Clark officiated with burial made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mr. Schultz died unexpectedly at his Columbia area home on April 29.

“How Great Thou Art” and “Abide With Me” were offered by Marie Stanley, accompanied by Vanita Volkert.

Pallbearers were Todd Wall, Wilson Bohnhoff, Harold Milbreit, Harry Ambelang, Merle Lindow and George Mashin.

Attending the services from out-of-the-area were Herbert Aspen and family, Mt. Pleasant, Ill.
