Hoffman, Kathryn F. (21 April 1979)

St. Kilian’s Catholic Church in Blenker was the April 21 afternoon site of the wedding for Kathryn F. Hoffman and Thomas E. Selves. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hoffman, Rt. 1 Milladore and parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Lee Selves, Granton.

With Father Eichman officiating, the parents of the bride presented her to the altar. Furnishing music were Doreen Lang and Helen Swetz.

The bride chose a long bridal gown complete with train, hat and veil. Serving as maid of honor was Jacqueline Hoffman, Miladore, Peggy Boshman of Vesper, Laurie McLauglin of Depew, N.Y, and Sharon Cook of Platteville. The bridal party wore blue floor length dresses with blue hats and caried baskets of pink, blue and white daisies.

Larry Mueller of Granton was bestman. He was joined by Francis Hoffman of Madison, Steven and Thomas Hoffman of Miladore and Kurt Cook of Platteville. Ushering were Duane Wegner and David Darr. Lisa Darr of Pittsville and Chad Hoffman of Milwaukee were flower girl and ring bearer.

Following the nuptials, a dinner reception was held at the Eagles Club in Marshfield.

The bride a graduate of Auburndale High School, is employed with Pittsville Homes. The groom, a graduate of Granton High School, is employed by Gross Motors in Neillsville. After a Missouri trip, the couple will make their home in Chili.
