Vandenberg, Mary Ann (1896? – 27 Feb 1973)

Mary Ann Vandenberg, 76, route 1, Holcombe, died Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls.

She was graduated from Sacred Heart School of Nursing at Eau Claire and worked at both Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley and Sacred Heart Hospital. She had also been superintendent of nurses at the Stanley Hospital.

Survivors include a brother, George, New London; and three sisters, Mrs. Helen Deering, Kaukauna, Mrs. Anne Heggen, Milwaukee, and Ethel Vandenberg, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Church, with the Reverend Joseph Marx officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Stanley.
