Mrotek, Kathryn Mae (21 April 1979)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville was the Satruday afternoon, April 21, site for the exchange of wedding vows between Kathryn Mae Mrotek and Mark Allen Chadwick. The bride, Norfolk, Va., is the daughter of Patricia Tibbett Mrotek of Neillsville. The groom is the son of Carole and James Chadwick, Neillsville.

The bride chose a gown of white Quiana featuring a bodice of Chantilly lace and seed pearls, empire waist, A-line skirt and sweeping chapel train. She also wore a Juliet cap with fingertip length Venician lace and seed pearls. She carried a cascade of r ed roses with baby’s breath.

Selected as maid of honor was Deborah Malmstadt, Eau Claire, who caried a bouquet of pink carnations and wore a soft pink polyester organza gown with a sheer capelet.

Ron Aumann, Neillsville, was bestman. Ushering were Don Mrotek, the bride’s brother from Hayward, and Duanne Boon, Neillsville.

With Barb Richmond as a soloist, accompanied by Coletta Short, musical selections included “If,” “We’ve Only Just Begun” and “The Wedding Song.” A reception followed at the Wildcat Inn.

The bride is a 1976 graduate of Neillsville High School and is employed at the Virginia National Bank in Norfolk. The groom, a 1975 graduate of the same school, is with the U S. Navy.
