Kathy demonstrated first aid in the home. She showed how to assemble a first aid kit, apply artificial respiration, prevent shock, and stop bleeding.

Kathy now has a chance to compete in the state contest, which will be held at the state fair later this year.
After the contest, the Thorp chapter sponsored a supper in the home economics room for all the participants and their advisors.
