Gray, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin (35th - 1979)
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Gray, Chili, were feted at a 35th wedding anniversary
celebration after church services at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford, March
25. Pastor Lurke gave a special prayer in honor of the couple.
The surprise anniversary reception was given by their children. Among those
attending were Norm and Genny Kommer, Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gray,
Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Gray, Danville, Ky.; Mr. and Mrs. Randall Gray,
Marshfield; Dale and Roberta Tesky, Wausau; and Dean Gray.
A buffet reception was held and a cake, baked by their daughter, Genny Kommer,
was decorated in colors of aqua and yellow.
About 50 relatives and friends from Rockford, Ill., Buffalo Center, Ia., Titonka,
Ia., Mosinee, Gilman, Wausau, Marshfield, and Greenwood attended, including
eleven gr4andchildren were present.
