Lane, George B. (4 Sep 1903 – 8 Jan 1973)

Geroge B. Lane, 69, died Monday evening at his home in Stanley.

Mr. Lane was born September 4, 1903 at Bloomer, went to Stanley in 1939, and was employed at Stanley Machine works for many years, retiring in 1968.

He was married June 28, 1952 to Eulah Walter at Almond. He was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church, Stanley, Masonic Lodge, Eau Claire Consistory, Experimental Aircraft Association and the National Rifle Association.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Faith Evangelical Free Church, with the Rev. Dwight Cook officiating.

Friends may call at Plombon Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday, and then at the church until services. Masonic services will be at 7:30 Wednesday at the funeral home.
