Bragg, Susan Kay (28 October 1978)

Susan Kay Bragg and Evan Earl Erickson exchanged wedding vows Saturday afternoon at Calvary Lutheran Church, Neillsville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Bragg, Rt. 5 Neillsville, while the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Erickson, also of Rt. 5 Neillsville.

With the Rev. Paul Forde officiating at the 3:00 p.m. service, the father of the bride escorted her to the altar. Kendall Smith offered vocal selections while Elaine Smith accompanied him on the organ.

The bride was attired in a floor-length white gown of organza over taffeta and wearing a fingertip veil, carried a bouquet of red and white roses. Serving as maid of honor was Cheryl Bragg, Neillsville, who was joined by Mrs. Karl Schoen, also of Neillsville. They wore dusty rose-colored Victorian gowns and hats and carried long-stem white roses with pink baby’s breath.

Roger Erickson served as bestman while Karl Schoen was groomsman, both of Neillsville. Ushering were Erwin Erickson, and Robert Ratsch, Jr.

Following the ceremonies, a reception was held in the church dining hall and a dance was held at the Neillsville American Legion Hall.

The bride and groom are Neillsville High School graduates and he attended District I Technical Institute, Eau Claire. He is employed as a carpenter-foreman for Hintz Contractors, Eau Claire, where the couple will make their home.
