Gall, Bernard C. (25 Sep 1900 – 4 Oct 1972)

Bernard C. Gall, 72, died at his home in Dorchester at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 1972, after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gerald Schuh officiating. Burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Maurina Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were Carl Morrow, Frank Gobernatz, William Jantsch, Frank Hollman, Henry Gebert and John Boxrucker.

Mr. Gall was born September 25, 1900 at Loyal. He attended Loyal schools. On June 16, 1926 he was married to Marie Kaage, who survives. From 1931 to 1951 he ran a moving picture business, traveling from town to town showing films. From 1961 to 1966 he ran a shoe repair business, also traveling from town to town.

Survivors, besides his wife, include a son, Gary, Elk Grove Village, Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. Chester (Delores) Bunkelman, Milan, and Mrs. Arnold (Virginia) Schaefer, Route 2, Athens; one brother, Harold Gall, Oxford; one sister, Mrs. George (Adeline) Hammond, Loyal; twenty-nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
