Faber, Donald (29 November 21946 – 30 September 1978)
Funeral services were held for Donald Faber, 31, on Wednesday from Christ
Lutheran Church, Chili, with the Rev. Horst Augustin officiating. Burial as in
the olde Town of Fremont Cemetery (Yolo).
Faber who passed away Saturday, September 30, at St. Joseph’s Hospital,
Marshfield, was born November 29, 1946, in Neillsville to Mr. and Mrs. Norman
Faber. He attended schools in Neillsville and Granton and was a resident of the
Clark County Health Care Center, Owen for two years. Just prior to his death, he
resided in the Bethel Convalescent Home in Arpin for one month.
He is survived by his parents, Granton; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Connie)
Halverson of Onalaska and Bonnie Faber of Medford, and two grandmothers, Mrs.
Emma Faber of Granton and Mrs. Emma Sanger of Neillsville.
Pallbearers for the service were to include Fred Lewin, Jr., Wayne Jahr, Harold
Schlinsog, William Ganther, Darrel Booth, and Kenneth Billman.
Mrs. Hilda Montag accompanied Mrs. Henry Grottke, Jr., and Mrs. Horst Augustin
in funeral music.
